Interplex Industries, a US-based company, began its investment in China in March 1996. Interplex Electronic (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd was the first wholly owned group subsidiary in China. The original location, which was built on 20,000 square meters in Hangzhou Economic Development Area, consists of approximately 14,700 square meters of factory and office space, as well as a 2200 square meter dormitory and dining hall. The company's registered capital is US$6.5 million and total investment is US$16.25 million.

Based on the success of Interplex Electronic (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd and in an effort to support the potential market in North China, Interplex Electronic (Dalian)Co., Ltd was founded in September 2003. The Dalian location, which began formal production August 2004, Currently, occupies 20,000 square meters, including the first factory which is 5000 square meters. The registered capital is US$3 million and total investment is US$6 million.

Interplex Industries has continued to invest and expand in China. In 2005, the company founded Interplex Industries (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. The location occupies 43,000 square meters, including the first factory which is 8600 square meters. The registered capital is US$10.5 million and total investment is US$25million. The new facility began production in June 2006.
